Kristin's Story
Kristin Haffert is a global social impact and leadership expert with over 25 years of advising Fortune 500 companies, multilateral institutions, governments, and philanthropies in more than 120 countries. She has pioneered learning and development content to support C-suite leaders, policymakers and professionals across sectors.
The transformational experiences she creates have built more inclusive and powerful leaders—from biotech to the United Nations—and her extensive facilitation and coaching have accelerated professional growth for thousands.
Kristin is the Co-Founder of Mine The Gap, a social impact business advancing inclusive leadership across sectors. She has spearheaded high-profile global partnerships—including work with former US Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright—including the largest political leadership program for women in the world founded at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, and the multilingual, UN backed digital platform for women policy leaders.

Caribbean, Africa, Asia, and Europe.

As a recognized expert on gender equality, Kristin collaborated with Amazon Web Services to build its first diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) strategy, and advised organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank, the MacArthur Foundation, and the National Geographic Society.
She holds a Master’s degree in Leadership from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, a Bachelor’s degree from Douglass College at Rutgers University.
She has instructed coaches and professionals from across sectors as an adjunct professor at Georgetown’s Institute for Transformational Leadership. A sought-after speaker and award recipient, Kristin has been honored by the Center for American Women in Politics, the National Association of Women Business Owners and the Public Leadership Education Network for her dedication to advancing women's leadership worldwide.
